Jack Sock wins mixed doubles title on pro pickleball debut

American Jack Sock may still be looking to rediscover his form on the tennis court, but the tennis star has found success in pickleball, recently winning his first torunament.

Sock teamed with World No. 1 pickleball player Anna Leigh Waters to win the mixed doubles title at the PPA North Carolina Open, although he did also compete in the singles and men's doubles event.

The four-time doubles Grand Slam champion took to social media to express his joy, thanking his partner and stating he would be making a return to the pickleball court.

"One tournament. One 🥇 I had such a fun time competing in my first PPA event and to cap it off with a title made it even more special! Big thanks to ALW for teaming up with me, let’s run it back sometime! Til next time pickleball…," Sock wrote.
