The petition to allow
Novak Djokovic to play at the
US Open is gaining signatures quickly and one of them is the nephew of former US president John F. Kennedy.
As of now, Djokovic is not able to play at the US Open due to his unvaccinated status. To be precise, he can play at the US Open but he can't enter the US legally because foreign nationals need to be vaccinated to enter the country. He's not and he won't do it in the future leaving him very few options ahead of the US Open.
The only way he can get into it is with a special exemption and his fans have been working hard in order to show the US government why such action would be good. A petition launched towards that goal was launched and has slowly been gathering signatures.
The nephew of former president John F. Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy endorsed it publicly with a tweet writing:
"TAKE ACTION --> Tell Biden Administration to Let Djokovic Play in US Open"
