Kafelnikov refutes Bryan Brothers' Indian Wells final walk-over story

Former World No.1 Yevgeny Kafelnikov has refuted claims made by the Bryan Brothers in a story that they told about an Indian Wells final which the former won with Wayne Ferreira where they offered a walk-over.

Earlier this week, the Bryan Brothers told the story that they essentially came up to them before the match offering to let them win as long as they split the money and they declined and went onto win.

"I can’t comment on this in any way. Who said it, Bob or Mike, I don’t even know who said it, they look so alike.

Which one is right-handed or left-handed? Have we met? We always meet in the locker rooms, we talk. But what we talked about 17 years ago, I don’t remember, and I don’t understand how it can be fantasised."
