Kei Nishikori is set to make his comeback soon and he will do it in Canada at the Calgary challenger after missing all of 2022 so far.
The Japanese player has been out of action for the entire season after dealing with a number of different injuries. He is set to make his comeback soon at the Calgary challenger confirming his participation earlier this week.
Tournament director Da Costa was thrilled to welcome Nishikori to the event releasing a statement on his participation:
"We are fortunate to have him with us in Calgary. Kei is returning to the tour in the next few weeks, and he is making Calgary one of his first events since surgery. Nishikori is a baseliner. He is very fast and extremely talented. He is also a global star."
