Kyrgios hits back at comments over Berrettini prioritising off court commitments: "He is making more bank than Sinner"

Nick Kyrigos jumped to the defence of Matteo Berrettini after he was criticised by Italian tennis legend Nicola Pietrangeli over his lack of focus on tennis.
Pietrangeli went in on Berrettini calling him a player that is more concerned about advertisements than tennis which is reflected in his results. It was rather harsh criticism by the legendary player who went on to proclaim Sinner as the best Italian player, someone who is actually focused on tennis rather than other things.
The summary of his interview was posted on Twitter by reporter Jose Morgado to which Kyrgios responded in his own way:
"But isn’t it his choice to prioritise? I can assure you this, he is making more bank than Sinner off the court and for some of us, money is important."
