Kyrgios left gutted after no invite for NBA All-Star Celebrity Game: "I shoulda been in the All-Star game, no one guarding me"

Nick Kyrgios had hoped for an invite to the celebrity NBA All-Star game believing himself capable of dominating it but it didn't ultimately happen.

Kyrgios is a huge fan of basketball and the NBA specifically often remarking earlier in his career that he prefers basketball to tennis. He had a prospective future in basketball before opting for tennis but his fondness for the sport never left. He was hoping to show the world his basketball skills at the NBA celebrity all-star game but it won't be happening this year.

He said on his story:

"I shoulda been in the All-Star game, no one guarding me. I'll be back."

Kyrgios has took part in the Australian Basketball Celebrity All-Star game in the past.
