French sports fashion brand Lacoste have released a tracksuit which is certainly pre-emptive to say the least for their ambassador Novak Djokovic with 25 Grand Slams won before he has even won that amount.

Djokovic already has won a record 24 major Grand Slam titles in his illustrious career. The Serbian has been with Lacoste since 2017 with the company also sponsoring Daniil Medvedev, Venus Williams and Grigor Dimitrov.

But Lacoste US have released a special edition tracksuit for Djokovic on their website. It was released as an early celebration for his 25th Grand Slam triumph despite him not winning a Grand Slam since the US Open last year. He has since gone barren at the Australian Open, Roland Garros and likely Wimbledon depending on if he plays.

He is certainly trying to play in SW19 but whether he does or not remains to be seen. He is back in the gym and training so is trying to. The special edition tracksuit features the number 25 along with crocodile badges. The set is a fleece sweatshirt and includes tracksuit pants. But those who want it will be paying 350 dollars for the set.

If he doesn't go on to win, they will certainly have egg on their face. But he is likely to seal that haul whether it is late on this year or next year. He certainly has time on his side.

They showed their support for their ambassador when he got injured with a knee injury during the 2024 French Open. During their fourth round clash, Djokovic suffered a torn meniscus which ended his title defence in France. He withdrew due to injury. Lacoste changed their logo to have a bandage around its knee to represent the Serbian. But it seems to be that they think he will win the 25th.
