Latest instalment of Red Bull Bassline to take place in Madrid featuring Tsitsipas, Rublev and Berrettini

According to Tennis Infinity, the Red Bull Bassline exhibition event will take place in Madrid this year with players like Stefanos Tsitsipas, Andrey Rublev and Matteo Berrettini confirmed.

On April 25, the one-night, knock-out tie-break tournament will be held at the iconic Arantxa Sánchez Vicario Stadium in Caja Magica.

This event will take place alongside the 2023 Madrid Open, which is an upcoming ATP 1000 Masters event.

Red Bull Bassline's unique best-of-three format ensures rapid-fire matches, with each round lasting a mere 10 to 25 minutes.

Top players such as Stefanos Tsitsipas, Andrey Rublev, Matteo Berrettini, Sebastian Korda, Feliciano Lopez, and Martin Landaluce will compete in an eight-player field.

There will be no umpire present, leaving the players to be accountable for their calls and disputes. The atmosphere of the tournament is further enhanced by a live DJ.

Tsitsipas is looking forward to returning to the tournament.

"In today's world, everything is moving really fast, there are a lot of distractions and everything tends to be faster, quicker. The idea for Bassline stemmed from there, making tennis much more exciting, with more energy and more intensity put into every single point.

"Everyone‘s going at it 100 percent, each one displaying their best game. But we also want everyone to have a huge smile on their face; we want players to have fun while they’re out there doing what they do best."
