The 2023 Laver Cup will be missing some star power this year, as Australian Nick Kyrgios has announced his withdrawal from the annual event.
Kyrgios has been a regular fixture on Team World, delighting the crowd with his brilliant play and entertaining antics. However, the 2022 Wimbledon runner-up has been dealing with injuries this season, and will not be participating at this year's Laver Cup in Vancouver.

With Kyrgios out of the equation, Team World Captain John McEnroe now has all three Captains' Picks. The former World No.1 will make his announcements on the replacement and other team members shortly, with Team World hoping to defend the title they finally won at last year's event.
