The first half of the seeds took to the court yesterday for
the first time in the Madrid Open, the other 16 will get the chance to begin
their title challenge. Reigning champion Casper Ruud is one of the main
inclusions in the order of play. World number three Alexander Zverev also has
experience of winning here, with Felix Auger-Aliassime, Daniil Medvedev,
