Medvedev advanced into the semifinals at the Shanghai Masters after defeating Fognini

The Russian came to the tournament in China after the triumph in St Petersburg, where he did not lose a set. Nor has he lost a set so far in Shanghai, so he has the series of 7 games without a lost set.
