Daniil Medvedev will face Reilly Opelka in the final of the National Bank Open in Toronto after a ruthless 6-2, 6-2 success against John Isner.
Medvedev, the 2019 runner-up will head into the final as favourite after a brilliant display reaching his fifth final in an ATP Masters 1000 tournament.
It took the Russian ace only 55 minutes to see off Isner as he conquered his serve emphatically.
He was broken three times in just four matches in the runup to this match but such was the dominance of Medvedev that he broke the serve four times in eight service games.
This ruthless display was also produced on the return with Medvedev winning 50% of his return points.
Next up like alluded to will be Opelka with a 3-1 lead in Head to Head but can he add to triumphs in Marseille and Marbella this year?
