The Race to Turin looks a bit different after this week as Daniil Medvedev took over having a pretty big lead ahead of what will be a swing event - Roland Garros.
Daniil Medvedev has been one of the best players this year winning multiple trophies. He's now won his maiden clay trophy as well and it's an ATP 100 trophy no less. It was a match with Rune and he comfortably cruised towards the finish line ending a superb week where he looked like a clay specialist.
It was a great confidence booster ahead of Roland Garros and just further proof that he is indeed one of the best this year. He has now collected 4300 points putting himself ahead of Alcaraz who has 3455. Novak Djokovic is still number three thanks to the Australian Open which gave him 2000 of his 2700 points.
