Medvedev undefeated after victory over Schwartzman at ATP Finals

Daniil Medvedev remained undefeated in the group stage at the 2020 ATP Finals after he defeated Diego Schwartzman in the last match.

Last year, Daniil Medvedev played his first ATP Finals and he failed to win a single match. This year, the story is much different. There was no one to win a set against world no. 4 in the group stage and nor was Diego Schwartzman. The Argentinian couldn't advance after two previous losses, but he still played for his first victory and points for the ATP Rankings.

But the story was not different than expected in the last group stage match. Medvedev broke his opponent 3 times in the match what resulted in an easy 6-3, 6-3 victory in more than an hour. The Russian will take on Rafael Nadal in the semifinals.
