Daniil Medvedev became the champion of the 2020 Paris Masters after an exhausting final against Alexander Zverev.
The 23-years-old fourth-seeded German started the match better when he became the first player to have a breakpoint after 11 games of play. It seemed that the first set will reached the tie-break, however, Alexander Zverev got 3 breakpoints in the 12th game of the first set and succeeded in converting the third to win the first set 7-5.
However, in the second set, Medvedev started with his great show. The Russian won 9 out of 10 games since the scoreboard showed 5-7, 3-4. He went on to break Zverev 4 times to win the match 5-7, 6-4, 6-1 after 2 hours and 8 minutes to win his third ATP Masters title. Both Medvedev and Zverev will now focus on the 2020 ATP Finals in London what will be the final tournament of the 2020 season.
