Millman still feels Djokovic is favourite for French Open ahead of Alcaraz and Nadal despite Madrid withdrawal

John Millman still thinks that Novak Djokovic is the favourite for Roland Garros ahead of Rafael Nadal and Carlos Alcaraz despite his recent struggles.
Djokovic has been struggling since the start of the clay season losing early in Monte-Carlo. He didn't follow that up with some brilliant tennis in Banja Luka either. He's been dealing with an elbow thing during that time as well and it's not looking very good right now. Djokovic is not worried about playing down any concerns and John Millman kind of agrees. According to the Australian, the Serb is still the favourite at Roland Garros for him:
"I still don’t think we see Novak’s best tennis on the dirt until around Rome time. As he’s said, he takes time to get used to this surface and feel like in the past we tend to see him hit his strides when he rolls into the Italian capital."
He added:
"For me I'd have -Novak -Alcaraz -Nadal (if Nadal isn’t playing by Rome though I’d have Sinner in there)."
