"Much easier with him" - Troicki on Djokovic in the Davis Cup

Novak Djokovic will not play for Serbia in the Davis Cup this week and team captain Viktor Troicki underlined that it's much easier with him.

Not having one of the best players in the world on your team will present some issues for Serbia as they are playing in a very tough group with native team Spain favoured to take the group. Team Captain Troicki knows how much easier it would be with Djokovic and he admitted it before the competition started:

“With his [Djokovic’s] presence it’s much easier. He was there for our team so many times and he helped us win many matches, but the future is on the younger players and they need to get ready and take the responsibility and get those important wins for the team."

Serbia will have other players to lean but it's going to really tricky as they can't replace Djokovic. Nonetheless, the team captain backed the young guys to get it done as he said that they deserve to be in the team:

"The boys deserve to be in the team. In the future it’s going to be more and more matches that Novak is not with us. These players need to bring their best and do the best for the team”.
