Andy Murray made his way into the Provence final in Aix where he will take on Tommy Paul later today and he'll be making a return to the top 50 due to that.
Murray exited the Madrid Open after losing the first match he played there. He lost to a lower-ranked player who was able to use the condition against him. In much slower conditions in Aix, Murray was able to fight his way a couple of solid players into the final which is his first final on clay since 2016.
The win will also allow him to make a return to the top 50 which is very admirable considering everything that he went through and how hard he worked in the past couple of months towards it. This would be his first trophy since 2019 when he proved better than everyone else in Antwerp. He's going to be ranked 48 at the worst and possibly even better if he wins.
The final begins at 15:00 CET.
