Andy Murray and
Gael Monfils came up with an innovative way to stay in touch with fans by previewing the
ATP Finals on Twitch.
The Brit and the Frenchman teamed up on Friday to preview the ATP Finals which they live-streamed on Twitch. Immediately at the start, the players exchanged a few jokes.
“You’re very well dressed, Gael,” Murray immediately said.
“You know why? It’s because of you,” Monfils responded.
“I feel very under-dressed myself, to be honest. But next time… I’ll put something special on for you,” Murray said, cracking a laugh.
After that they gave their insight on the event commenting on player forms, the groups, draws and so on which is very interesting as players usually don't talk about the event in that manners. It gives the fans a new insight by two players who have been part of the best for a very long time and know all of these players well.
If you happened to miss that it won't matter much as these streams will return on Monday with the players discussing the matches that happened and recapping the results. Monfils said:
“It’s cool for us to share [our] opinions because people don’t really know our views on Tour. I think it’s great for us players to sometimes have a chat like that.”
