Andy Murray thought he was going to retire during the 2019
Australian Open and now he will return to Melbourne after his remarkable comeback to the tour.
Murray arrived in Australia ahead of warm-up tournaments and taking his place in the main tournament as a wildcard and showed his appreciation at the facilities.
He called them the best on tour and that they always amaze him.
"Haven’t been back to Melbourne @AustralianOpen for 3 years but it always amazes me the improvements @TennisAustralia make to the event year on year. Easily the best facilities on tour. Gyms, recovery areas, dining, transport all improved even during Covid," Murray tweeted.
