As well as the singles action, some eyes were on
Andy Murray as he teamed with
Joe Salisbury in the men's doubles as the Tokyo
Olympic Games began early on Saturday morning.
The British duo were facing Pierre-Hugues Herbert and Nicolas Mahut, the second seeds who were looking for one of the final pieces in their jigsaw needed.
But they likely will not get it now with Murray/Salisbury the victors 6-3, 6-2 in one hour and 15 minutes.
They won 42% of their receiving points en route to victory and could now be a big danger for the medals going forward with Murray in action on Sunday morning in the singles as well taking on Felix Auger-Aliassime.
