Rafael Nadal spoke about the future of the big three saying there will be in tennis for a while longer.
The Spaniard like many others hope that tennis will return to normality in 2021 as words of a potential vaccine are louder and louder. While taking part in a Spanish show he said:
“We’ll still be here for a while longer, competing and striving to win."
Nadal didn't quite have the year he wanted to have but nonetheless, he is optimistic going forward.
He explained it by saying:
“We can’t let ourselves fall into everyday defeatism. I think that taking an optimistic view of life helps us get through difficult times."
He continued by saying:
“Work, dedication, passion and commitment are required. Everyone has to find their own path and what makes them give the best of themselves. I have only taken part in five tournaments this year. Although things are going very well for me, it is definitely true that it is a sad year in general.”
