Rafael Nadal kicked-off his 2020 Australian Open campaign with a comfortable 3-0 victory over Hugo Dellien from Bolivia.

After not succeeding at the 2020 ATP Cup, Nadal will be looking forward to adding the first title of 2020 to his collection in Melbourne. Nadal spoke about longevity ahead of the Australian Open as he will be searching for his 20th Grand Slam title.
In the first round match, he faced world no. 73, Hugo Dellien. Nadal kept a high-level of his game during the whole match. He did not allow his opponent to have many chances, even though he broke his service game once in the second set and once in the third.
But after more than 2 hours, Rafa got a ticket into the second round after winning 6-2, 6-3 and 6-0. In the second round, the Spaniard will meet the winner of the match between Federico Delbonis and Joao Sousa.
