Spain are on the board in the Davis Cup Finals with World No.1 Rafael Nadal helping them to victory over Russia 2-1 in the end.

Marcel Granollers and Feliciano Lopez teamed up in the rubber match as a result to claim a decisive win in the doubles match.
Nadal ended up defeating Karen Khachanov 6-3, 7-6; while Granollers and Lopez defeated a heavily fancied team of Karen Khachanov and Andrey Rublev, who were recently runners-up in the Paris Masters.
The former ended up improving to 25-1 in Davis Cup matches and in the process ended up winning his 25th match on the spin in a record that has stood since 2004.
For the Spanish team they will now have the belief they can get through after defeating the Russian team who have some very in-form players in tow.
