Murray defeats Griekspoor in 3 set battle at Davis Cup

Andy Murray defeated Tallon Griekspoor in a breathtaking 3-set match 6-7, 6-4 and 7-6 after 2 hours and 54 minutes.

Murray played his first competitive match since he won the title in Antwerp. In the first tie at the Davis Cup finals, Great Britain is facing the Netherlands.
In the first match, Andy Murray faced Tallan Griekspoor and the fans expected a lot from Andy. But the match did not start ideally for Andy. Although he had a break point in the first set, he did not use it and Griekspoor won the first set 9-7 in the tie-break.
But Murray did not give up as he fought in the second set to level the score. He won it 6-4 after 43 minutes and the match was about to be decided in the third set.
Murray was losing already 4-1 in the third set, but he leveled the score to keep the hopes alive. No more breaks were seen in 3rd set and so tie-break needed to decide again. Murray was losing 4-1 in the tie-break as well but he won 6 of the following 7 points to get the first point for Great Britain.
