Rafael Nadal recently withdrew from the semifinals at the Paris Masters where he was supposed to face Denis Shapovalov, so doubts were raised about his start in London.
Yesterday, the draw was released for 2019 Nitto ATP Finals. Nadal should be playing in the Group Andre Agassi where he will meet Daniil Medvedev, Stefanos Tsitsipas and Alexander Zverev. We still do not know if Nadal will play as he has an injury he commented on. But he wants to play in London and in his tweet, he said that he will be traveling to London.
"Hello everyone. Yesterday I had a resonance in Mallorca and despite having a small strain in the right abdominal rectum, I will travel to London. Thursday or Friday I will start adapting. The idea is to be able to play the ATP Finals in London. Thanks for the support!"
