Rafael Nadal will stay in the top 10 for another week extending his streak due to Sonego beating Auger-Aliassime in Dubai yesterday.

Nadal has been part of the top 10 for about 18 years and he's never ever left it since he first entered in 2005. It's an incredible record that speaks to his longevity and brilliance but it will end this year. An early injury prevented Nadal from playing most of the events he played last year which resulted in a loss of many points.

He was undefeated until the Indian Wells final and he's missed most of those events this year. To get him out of the top 10, Auger-Aliassime, Rune and Hurkacz needed to have strong weeks. Neither had so he'll remain there for another week but with the Indian Wells coming up and him dropping a lot of points, he's going to leave the top 10 regardless of what happens with the other players.
