Nadal, Zverev advance at 2020 Abierto Mexicano in Acapulco

Both Alexander Zverev and Rafael Nadal will be playing in the 2nd round at the Abierto Mexicano. On the other hand, Kyrgios' injury proved to be still bothering him as the Aussie retired after losing the first set 3-6 to Humbert.

The second-seeded Alexander Zverev had a slower start in Acapulco as he was soon losing 1-4 to Jason Jung. However, since that moment, the German managed to win 12 out of 15 following games to score a 7-6, 6-1 victory over Jung.

Later, he was followed by the first-seeded in Acapulco, Rafael Nadal. World number 2 did not experience any difficulties against his countryman Pablo Andujar. Nadal showed a dominant performance; winning 6-3, 6-2 in 90 minutes.

Also no. 4 and 5 at the tournament will play in the second round. Felix Auger-Aliassime who is playing in a stunning form defeated Alex Bolt 6-3, 7-6. No. 5, John Isner added the same victory against Mischa Zverev.
