National Bank Open (Rogers Cup) Day 3 Schedule of Play with Halep, Gauff, Shapovalov

Like every day at the National Bank Open, play will start at 17:00 CET but there won't be any Rafael Nadal as fans hoped to see. The Spaniard withdrew after his foot gave him more problems but there will be interesting matches nonetheless. John Isner will get us underway as he takes on Christian Garin while Sinner plays Duckworth.

Canadians will fly the flag high for Felix Auger-Aliassime who plays Lajovic. At the same time, we will see a fascinating matchup between Karatsev and Khachanov while Nishikori will take on Hurkacz. In the late evening session, we will see Monfils take on Millman while Shapovalov will face off against Tiafoe.

The women's side of the draw will feature several notable matches as well and it will start at 17:00 CET with Sakkari taking on Kudermetova. Several other notable matchups are Pliskova - Vekic, Sabalenka - Stephens, Svitolina - Konta, Podoroska - Giorgi.

Coco Gauff will play as well with the American set to face Potapova. The final three matches of the day will feature Pegula taking on Pavlyuchenkova, Jabeur taking on Kasatkina and the return of Simona Halep. The Romanian player makes her return to tennis after a lengthy absence vs the red hot Collins.
