The National Bank Open returns in 2021 after not being held in 2020 due to the pandemic. Defending champion Rafael Nadal will also be back and he will be the 2nd seed behind Daniil Medvedev who will be the number one seed. There won't be Novak Djokovic in Toronto this year as the Serbian elected to skip it.
Nonetheless, it will be a strong field with Medvedev, Nadal, Tsitsipas, Zverev, Rublev, Berrettini and more. The winner of the event will as usual get 1000 ATP points to go along with $370,290. The losing player in the final will get $211,000 while the semifinalist will bag $121,250.
The lower rounds will yield less prize money and points. The event is set to start on August 9th and will run till August 15th. Check out the full breakdown below.
