Next Gen ATP Finals 2026 Race: Rafael Jodar continues to lead by huge margin as Blanch, Balshaw and Kouame look to strengthen spots

Tuesday, 03 November 2026 at 00:30

The Next Gen Finals are due to take place between 9 and 13 December, 2026, and the top eight continue to get strengthened, with Rafael Jodar continuing to lead by a considerable margin, adding more points today.

Jodar is currently on 3,234 points. But Joao Fonseca, who is second, makes that lead even more considerable. He is in second with 1,200 points, but he will not play for the rest of the season, so technically it is Martin Landaluce who will be in second spot ahead of Moise Kouame, who has continued to strengthen his spot.

He is in 4th spot and will play on home soil this week at the Paris Masters. He is one of only three players from the top 10 who will in fact play this week.

Darwin Blanch, who continues to dazzle on the Challenger Tour and in lower events, continues to add to the tally. He will play in Charlottesville this week. Felix Balshaw, who performed well in Lyon, is in 9th spot, but technically eighth due to the fact that Fonseca won't play.

He is in the eighth and final spot behind Joel Schwarzler, who, like Balshaw, lost in qualifying for events this week. Federico Cina is in fifth spot, while Rei Sakamoto is in sixth spot.

The only players realistically outside of the top players who could surge up are Nicolai Budkov Kjaer, who is just behind Balshaw by two points. He is playing in Bratislava this week. Diego Dedura is behind on 298 with Jan Kumstat and Maxim Mrva, both playing in Taipei and Taranto, so both could add to that tally this week.
