Australia’s tennis star Nick Kyrgios has revealed that he is edging closer to return to action. The 28-year-old is famous for being outspoken and has remained in the news for making controversial comments.
Kyrgios has been out of action because of an injury for more than a year. It was because of this reason he ended up missing all four Grand Slams in 2023 and also missed the first major tournament in 2024.
Kyrgios in a post on his official account on the social media platform Instagram, while responding to a fan, stated that he is about a month away from returning to action if everything goes according to plan. “I will be hopefully back on court in a month if all goes well,” he wrote.
The fans will be hoping to see the former world number 10 return to action after a lengthy break and regain his red-hot form which he had before suffering a serious injury.
Before getting injured, the Canberra-born played in his maiden and till now the only Grand Slam final where he ended up on the losing side to the current world number one Serbia’s Novak Djokovic with a score of 4–6, 6–3, 6–4, 7–6.
