Australian tennis ace Nick Kyrgios has fallen off the ATP Ranking table, as the former World No.13 has spent more than four months on the sidelines due to injury.
Kyrgios was forced to miss his home Grand Slam at the 2023 Australian Open, as he dealt with a knee injury that eventually required surgery. Subsequently, the 28-year old also missed the other Grand Slams due to a wrist injury.
The former Wimbledon finalist's only appearance this season was at the BOSS Open, where he suffered a first-round defeat against Wu Yibing. Kyrgios' last win on tour came at the 2022 Japan Open, where he reached the quarterfinals.
However, following his hiatus due to knee and wrist injuries, Kyrgios has seen his ranking drop, losing points acquired from his successful runs at Wimbledon and the Citi Open last year. The Aussie's last official ranking was World No.472, a position that will likely drop due to him unable to defend his quarterfinal points from last year's Japan Open.
