Nick Kyrgios is set to return at Roland Garros later this month seemingly to play doubles but then all eyes will be on the surface where he made his maiden Grand Slam singles final and in particular Wimbledon.
Kyrgios no doubt would've planned his season to fully play on the surface that he has had his most recent success on and also heartbreak in losing that final. As well as trying to return from injury after that in Stuttgart before being beaten and then not returning until this year.
But Kyrgios also has other ventures outside of his tennis and was a focal point last year of the coverage on BBC and ESPN of Wimbledon as a commentator and pundit. He also has his own podcast Good Trouble where he interviews top sporting names.
He has announced a tour this morning including stops which show perhaps his next moves. He will be at the New Wimbledon Theatre on 24 June 2025 a week before the Grand Slam. The same can be said for the Beacon Theatre in New York which is a week before the US Open on 18 August 2025.
He will also appear back home in Australia in more regular dates between 5th November - 19 November 2025 from Brisbane to Adelaide and Perth, Canberra and Sydney in between.
So no doubt Kyrgios isn't stopping yet and if he isn't playing, he seemingly has punditry duty lined up if he is traveling to these cities. He has not played since the Sunshine Double earlier in the year where he battled injury issues. He said he was playing Roland Garros but some questioned the veracity given he wouldn't get into the singles draw.
But it was later confirmed by journalist James Gray of the i Paper that he plans to play doubles with Jordan Thompson who now doesn't have a partner after Max Purcell's doping demise.
