Novak Djokovic came away from the Tokyo Olympic Games without a medal but the Serbian ace is still writing new pages of tennis history.
As on most Mondays, today's gave us a new ATP Ranking. This one showed Novak Djokovic as the world number one which brought the number of spent weeks as number one in the world to 332. By doing that Djokovic matched the record of Navratilova who is 2nd all-time on the list of weeks spent as number one in tennis.
It's a brilliant achievement that was only done by two other people. Martina Navratilova did it for exactly 332 weeks and the Serbian should overtake her next week becoming the sole holder of the 2nd most weeks spent as number one. It's something he mentioned as a goal in the past.
The other person who spent so many weeks as the best player is the legendary Steffi Graff who did it for 377 weeks. Djokovic still has quite a few weeks to reach Graff but the Seribna has a realistic chance to do so. What do you think ? Will Djokovic overtake Graff ? Tell us below.
