Novak Djokovic to play 2020 Erste Bank Open in Vienna

It seemed that the 2019 Erste Bank Open Vienna champion, Dominic Thiem will be the highest-ranked player also this year, however, the world number 1, Novak Djokovic joined a very strong field of players.

The 2020 Erste Bank Open entry list is probably the best in the event's history. This year, there will be at least 7 players from the TOP 10 competing in Vienna. Dominic Thiem, Daniil Medvedev, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Matteo Berrettini, Andrey Rublev and Diego Schwartzman will be joined by Novak Djokovic who just confirmed that he'll be competing in Vienna this year.

The cut off for the 32 player field, which includes 4 qualifiers and 4 wild-cards is just 27th place in the ATP Ranking and that proves the high-quality of the tournament. The 2020 Erste Bank Open is an ATP 500 category tournament, but the field that will compete in Vienna this year is worth any Masters tournament.
