Another final and another triumph for Novak Djokovic who bested Tsitsipas comfortably in the final 6-3 6-4 for another trophy.
This was the second final they played this year and the second time that Djokovic was able to win the match. Much like Rome, this was another one where the victory was never really in doubt. He looked good from the start and slowly but surely exploited all the well-known weaknesses of Tsitsipas.
A major issue for Tsitsipas was his serve as he didn't hit it nearly consistently enough as he needed to. When he did he dominate but it was only 58 % and it needed to be close to 70+ for him to stay truly competitive. Djokovic was superb on his own dropping only 3 points in the entire set.
The second set was equally impressive from Djokovic as he was superb once again. Tsitsipas still struggle on his own serve and his return was not good either. All of that was more than enough for him to easily finish off the match 6-4 and lift another trophy.

- I heartily disagree with Stubbs here. I mean c'mon! The whole idea of giving out wildcards is to give new & up-coming players a chance at getting as much circuit match-practice under their belts as possible. And this is a HUGE must and opportunity for these new kids on the block. Why curtail opportunities for these newbies in favour of stalwart monopoly?? That just isn't fair. At least give these lesser known players a chance to become more familiar at playing in bigger tournaments & give them also a chance of getting the crowds behind these underdogs.
