Greek star Stefanos Tsitsipas has confessed he really misses his girlfriend, Spanish tennis player Paula Badosa, as the two are currently separated due to tennis responsibilities.
Tsitsipas is the top seed at this week's Los Cabos Open in Mexico, which has temporarily taken him away from Badosa. The duo made their relationship official sometime after the 2023 French Open, and have seen expressed their love for each other on social media.
In an interview with ESTO, the World No.5 delved into how much their relationship meant to him, considering they were not together for the first time.
"I miss her a lot and I talk to her about it every day," Tsitsipas admitted. "We have a great connection between us. It's the first time in a long time that we're not together. Now I realize how much I miss her and how much she misses me too.
"This is how reality will be if we continue together. This is going to be something frequent and something that we will have to normalize in our lives. I'm getting used to it. There will be more days like this and we are ready. We are mentally prepared for that."
