Ons Jabeur gets celebration in native Tunis

Ons Jabeur may not have won the Wimbledon trophy but she certainly captured the hearts of fellow Tunisians who celebrated her recently.
Upon losing in the Wimbledon final, Jabeur opted to travel home and relax a bit but she was actually greeted by a massive crowd of people who celebrated her feat. Jabeur's name is tied to several milestones as she's the first Arab woman to achieve anything significant in the world of tennis and it's something she hopes will inspire others as well.
Upon returning home, Jabeur was invited to the presidential place where she received the Grand Medal of the National Order of Merit. She was also celebrated by fans and compatriots on the streets where she gave a speech saying:
"Tunisians' love is more important than no matter which title. I hope this is the start of lots more wins. I'm proud to be a Tunisian."
She's certainly inspiring a lot of people in the country as the membership of her tennis club has doubled since she began her rise.
