Former Wimbledon champion Pat Cash maintains that Australian star Nick Kyrgios, given his talent, has the ability to beat anybody in the world.
In a recent interview, Cash acknowledged that Kyrgios was extremely talented, with the ability to move well on the court and do just about anything with his racket. However, the former World No.4 stated that Kyrgios needed to enjoy his tennis and be happy while playing, as his volatility tends to showcase itself otherwise.
"He's got to look after his own well-being and ensure he's enjoying himself," Cash stated. "However, he's got to get himself 100% fit and he's got to do that by working hard for months, months and years, not just a few weeks, so it will be very hard for him to be consistent, even though he has the ability to beat anybody in the world."
Kyrgios recently joined the growing list of stars who have pulled out of the Tokyo Olympic Games. However, the Australian cited that he did not want to play in front of empty stadiums, adding he'd also like to use the time to allow his body to heal.
