Guido Pella will be one of the main seeds at the Argentina Open but he is fearing one player in particular who is involved.
That is Dominic Thiem who of course reached the final at the Australian Open and is riding on a crest of a wave at the moment.
The Argentinian said that he'd rather him not play in the event due to him harbouring his own ambitions to take home the title; so said that for a fans' perspective it's good but for a players' it is not.
"I would not like Thiem to play Buenos Aires; he is on another level at the moment. I prefer him to stay at home and not come to Buenos Aires. For the event in general, I know it would be excellent news if he decides to play; people probably prefer to watch him more than me. But, if some of us want to win the event, it would be better if Dominic doesn't come," said Pella.
