The Indian Wells Open begins today (Wednesday 5 March) and runs until March 16. It is now time to have your say on the ATP event and who you see as the winner out of the forerunners.
Jannik Sinner won't defend his title. The Italian has been banned from the sport for taking the substance Clostebol this time last year and took a retrospective ban instead of having to go to CAS to have his initial nocent verdict overturned.
Carlos Alcaraz has previously won the title so no doubt will go in as one of the favourites. He is joined in those stakes by the current World No.2 in Alexander Zverev who failed in his initial bid to become World No.1 by the time Sinner returns to the sport.
Novak Djokovic also returns albeit is an injury question mark after hobbling around post Doha. He has won the title five times and has showed in recent past that if the top names are off he is still a formidable force. He will also be flanked still by Andy Murray who remains part of his team for this run-in.
In addition, not forgetting the likes of Casper Ruud, Andrey Rublev among others. As well as Stefanos Tsitsipas. The latter two in particular have enjoyed great title success as of late. Also what of the Americans as Tommy Paul and Taylor Fritz lead their charge on home soil.
Can Ben Shelton ignite or can Frances Tiafoe return to former glories. Perhaps like the WTA side of the draw, the men's is very much an open book going into the latest edition and as the last few ATP 1000's have shown anything can happen. The fifth Grand Slam is upon us. Can you make the right pick to take them all the way to the title?
