Britain’s tennis star
Emma Raducanu has hinted at failing a
challenge posed by Tunisia’s
Ons Jabeur. The 29-year-old, in a post on her official account on the social media platform Instagram, tagged three players, including Raducanu, with a caption: I challenge you to do this trick shot. Show me what
you got.”
Later, Spain’s
Carlos Alcaraz completed the challenge and posted a video with the comment, “What about this one, Ons?". In response to
that, Raducanu hilariously hinted that she failed the challenge by writing: “Damn, I can't be tagged in the same line w this." On the other hand, Jabeur was impressed
with Alcaraz’s effort as she wrote: "Very good bravo."
Even though Raducanu might not have had success while trying to complete the Jabeur challenge, she will be hoping that things can finally turn around on the court when she participates in the upcoming French Open. The former world number 10 is going through a mixed time on the
court this season since returning from a lengthy spell on the sidelines
because of a fitness concern. Her most recent appearance was in the Madrid Open, where she was knocked out of the competition after losing in the round of 128
to Argentina’s Maria Lourdes Carle in straight sets with a score of 6-2, 6-2.
