"Rafa is nicer, more human than Federer" says former coach of Iga Swiatek

Former coach of Iga Swiatek Piotr Sierzputowski is currently jobless as of recently but the Polish player understands why Swiatek loves Rafael Nadal.

Iga Swiatek grew up idolizing Rafael Nadal calling him her idol much tennis in interviews. The Polish player admires Nadal for many different things and she is not alone as Andrey Rublev is another fan. Besides those two, Nadal has another one with her former coach Piotr Sierzputowski also a huge fan. Swiatek parted ways with her longtime coach a few days ago and speaking on that the coach explained what draws people to Nadal.

He said:

"I understand why Iga is a huge fan of Rafa. He is a great and well-mannered guy, who always greets you, winks, smiles at you, and is never rude. Djokovic is very helpful, there is no denying it. Roger is a legend, you can't help but like him, but not as much as Rafa."

Then he continued:

"Roger distances himself a little from the rest of the players. Rafa plays with his team, sits with other tennis players, and eats the same things. Federer has his cook flying with him. These details make Rafa nicer, more human, despite being a machine on the court."
