Rafael Nadal's US Open preparations are underway and he enlisted the help of uncle Toni's son for some hitting.
In a video posted to social media by Nadal's sister Maribel, her brother is seen practising with another family member.s It's Joan Nadal, the son of their uncle Toni who has worked with Nadal for the majority of his life. Rafa did not go easy on Joan but the youngster held his own pretty well on the hard courts of the Nadal tennis academy.
The older Nadal was also seen moving really well on the court proving that his abdominal tear is behind him. Fans are eager to see Nadal back in North America after he was forced to skip over the majority of it last year.
