Rafael Nadal returns to practice ahead of return in North America

Rafael Nadal is all healed up from his abdominal tear and the Spaniard returned to work ahead of his return next month.

Nadal last played at Wimbledon where he defeated Taylor Fritz in the quarterfinal despite suffering from a 6 cm abdominal tear. In order to avoid making it worse, Nadal withdrew ahead of his Kyrgios clash and since then it's been mostly rest and recovery from Nadal.

Not anymore as Nadal is back to practising at his Tennis Academy facilities in Mallorca. The official Instagram account of the Academy posted a photo where Nadal si showing hitting on the hard courts of the facility. The Spaniard is set to make his return in Montreal which was confirmed not long ago by the Tournament director.

It was said that Nadal has been sent the balls to be used at the event so he can get accustomed to them ahead of his return. Nadal is set to play at the Cincinnati Masters as well as the US Open. No other events have been scheduled for him as of now.
