Spain’s legendary tennis star
Rafael Nadal shared a post
about playing Shuffleboard with friends.
The 37-year-old is currently spending time on the sidelines
as he continues his recovery from a knee injury. It was because of this injury
he ended up missing three out of four Grand Slams in 2023.
Nadal shared a post on his official Instagram account about spending time with his friends playing the Shuffleboard game.
"Saturday afternoon… enjoying my time somewhere playing
with friends...Can you guess what it is this game? I love it!,” he wrote.
Nadal is often described as one of the greatest players in
the history of men’s singles tennis in the Open era, having won as many as 22
Grand Slam titles.
He is the first player in the history of men’s singles
tennis to win more than 20 Grand Slam titles.
His most successful competition has been the French Open
where he has lifted the title 14 times which is also a record in the
competition’s history (2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014,
2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2022).
Nadal’s last major
triumph also came while playing at Roland Garros where he defeated Norway’s
Casper Ruud in the final in 2022 with a score of 6–3, 6–3, 6–0.
