Rafael Nadal has not played since the Citi Open in Washington due to a foot injury but the Spaniard is training well and should be good to go for the Australian Open says his uncle Toni.
It's been a couple of months since Rafael Nadal last played at a tennis event but the Spaniard should make his return at the Mubadala tennis event in Abu Dhabi in December. The event is supposed to start on the 16th of December and it should be the first time Nadal is back on the court after he lost at the Citi Open in Washington.
During an event in Portugal where Nadal was a guest, he briefly touched upon Nadal saying that he is practicing well and that he should be 100 % ready for the Australian Open. It's a great thing to hear for our Nadal fans especially after initial reports about the injury were quite negative. Some even questioned Nadal's ability to play tennis at all in the future and it's good to hear that those rumors have been squashed.
