There has been a major conundrum regarding Rafael Nadal and his potential participation at this year's Wimbledon with initially it being confirmed he would not play in London before that was reported as false as he won Roland Garros once more.
Nadal has been seeking further treatment on his foot and unlike on clay, he has said he will not play Wimbledon with injections in his foot.
Toni Nadal, his uncle has been more optimistic when it comes to his participation and has said today he believes he will play Wimbledon and will hit the courts of Mallorca on Monday.
As reported by TennisNet, Nadal said the following: "I talked to him. At first he said: 'Everything hurts.' But when we spoke yesterday, he said it was much better. He wants to train. And if he has a little chance, he will play at Wimbledon. He goes on the court on Monday."
