Daniil Medvedev has withdrawn from the Kremlin Cup because of his exhausting schedule of the last months, a few days after he won the Shanghai Masters.
The Russian was seeded on the first spot and won last Sunday from Alexander Zverev in the Final of Shanghai. Even though Medvedev had four days off, reaching six consecutive finals drained him psychologically and physically, according to the Russian news agency Tass.
Rublev and Kecmanovic, both seeded players who played today, won their match in the third set.
